Team Info

Head Coach: Mark Hudgell
I have 4 children, 4 step children, coach 30 U7’s and am a registered Foster Carer – Gluten for punishment ? … Not at all - I love every minute of it.

I played and coached men’s football until my mid 30’s and 12 years later found myself drawn back to the game because of the enthusiasm of my son. Keen to coach the modern game rather than the Billy Bremner and Norman Hunter game I learnt in the 1970’s I signed up for my first FA coaching course, swiftly followed by my 2nd and 3rd. Now with another 2 grassroots, youth focused FA courses planned I want to be the best coach I can possibly be and give something back to the game I enjoyed playing for so many years.
Coaching Qualifications: Level 2 FA Coach. Youth Award Module 1. Working towards Youth Award Modules 2 & 3

Assistant Coach: Ryan Cooke
I love my football - playing 3 times a week, going to matches and watching on TV. Seeing my little brother start with the under 6's last year made me want to be involved on the coaching side. With the support of KHFC I completed my FA Level 1 coaching certificate which has given me another dimension to the game I enjoy so much. It's great to see the boys enjoy our training sessions and to see how they have progressed over the past year.
Coaching Qualifications: FA Level 1

Assistant Coach: John Rosener
I spent many years in my youth playing football, both at grass roots and at semi professional level, so this role has given me the opportunity to help educate the team and enable them to enjoy all the positives that come out of this beautiful game !!

The key to our team development is understanding the children's minds on how they function and absorb the information we deliver, which over the past few years, has been a joy as all have retained the basics and continue to progress in all departments
Coaching Qualifications:FA Level 1 planned for spring 2014, FA Youth Award Module 1 in Q4 2014

Admin Manager: Kelly Alden
I took on the role of Admin Manager in 2012 and am now in the middle of my 2nd season. I live on Kings Hill and both my sons play for Kings Hill FC. My role involves organising the coaches, training, qualifications, registrations and friendly fixtures for all 30 players within the U7’s. I am also involved in the organisation of the Annual Fun Day event.
Coaching Qualifications: N/A

Football Philosophy
This season we will continue to focus on ABC's - Agility, Balance and Coordination. We will continue to build on the techniques and skills our players have learnt so far and start to develop their football brain. We will work on dribbling while keeping the ball under control, space awareness and decision making - pass or dribble - shoot or pass.

Players will be grouped by ability for training this season to ensure they all have lots of involvement and lots of touches of the ball which will increase their confidence, motivation and enjoyment.
