2018-19 Season

Manager / Coach: Iain Levett

Football has been a mainstay in my life, from early childhood kicking a ball in the streets – jumpers for goalposts, to school football, youth team football progressing to managing an adult 11-a-side team in my early 30’s (only way to keep in the team!) and 5-a-side teams in my late 30’s after my legs finally gave up!  For my sins I’ve also been a West Ham season ticket holder for 30years – so know how to play the game the right way 😉.  My son has been in Kings Hill teams since U8s, last season I took up the gauntlet and became a coach as the club re-organised its players and coaches.  The start of the season was a quick sharp learning curve, but ultimately a great experience culminating in a relatively good season.  I aim to draw on last season’s experiences, learning from our new more experienced coach Jon, whilst helping the boys progress further, hopefully savouring some more success, but ultimately enjoying their time both during matches and training sessions.

Coach: Jon Cooke

I've always played and loved football so when I saw what was developing at Kings Hill I was keen to get involved. The club and facilities here are amazing so I'm happy to add a small contribution and the boys seem to be loving their football and improving week to week. What more can you ask for?

Football Philosophy

As coaches of the Rangers team our philosophy is to provide a playing and coaching environment that is both enjoyable and challenging to our players. Our aim is to improve and develop all our players regardless of the level of their ability, whilst providing equal opportunities for them all to participate in matches.  We are not a win at all costs team but put emphasis on playing the game the right way, trying new things, learning from mistakes – as long as the boys give 100% effort, determination, intensity and try to deploy what their coaches have taught them then not only will the coaches and players be happy, but the results will come too.
