Head Coach: Brett Smith
I've now been working with the majority of this squad for the past 4 seasons having coached the Colts team previously. Having completed my UEFA B license in 2014, I've now attended the UEFA A License Prep course with a view to completing that qualification in the coming years when time permits.

Season 2016/17. This season we decided as players, parents and coaches that the team would benefit from playing 1 year up at the U13 level as opposed to U12. This also allowed us to increase the squad size to 16 with a view to selecting from those players at the end of the season to progress forward into the Kent Youth League U13 squad for season 2017/18.

Given that we're a relatively small team, the physical challenge was the biggest hurdle for the players to initially overcome. Team's have often taken advantage of this via set pieces and free kicks which was to be expected. As the season has progressed, the majority of players have responded well to the physical challenges and well therefore be better prepared for KYL next season.

In possession and with exception of 3 games, the team has performed well and has stayed true to their technical ability of the ball and confidence to pass their way around the pitch. Whilst not always ending with a goal scoring opportunity, I'm confident that this element of our team game will continue to improve during the season.

Last but not least, the boys look incredibly smart in their new kit and training wear, thank you to Rob Barham for his generous sponsorship.

Coaching Qualifications: UEFA A Prep, UEFA B Qualified Coach. Completion of FA Youth Modules 1 & 2 over the recent years. I've also completed the Coerver Youth Diploma and Play Like Spain Module.
