Team Info

Coach: Jonathan Hodges
I have had an over forty year’s enjoyment in playing football, from boys and the dreams of playing for my favourite team, to Vets today and still the same dream. Though that dream is fading, my passion for football remains and I hope to bring that enthusiasm to the boys and girls I help coach at Kings Hill FC.
I joined the coaching team in the summer of 2013, when the previous Manager moved onto the U9 FC and I took the Level 1 FA coaching badge during the holidays in preparation for the 2013-14 season.
I have since gained the Level 2 FA coaching badge and FA Youth Module 1.
I am planning to work towards further FA Youth Modules, which I believe are really beneficial in the development of young players.

Coaching Qualifications: FA Coaching Level 1, FA Coaching Level 2, FA Youth module 1.

Coach: Richard Ludlow
I have been coaching the boys since they were at the Under 6 level and the "Colts" team since the group split at Under 7 level. I have seen a massive change in the boys as players and people through that time.
I spend a lot of time working on how the boys can develop both as individuls and as a team. I particularly enjoy planning the training sessions, seeing the boys understand the skill that we are working on and then implementing it in the game at the weekend. It is a huge buzz.
I attend all the Clubs' coach education events and learn from the Rondos training sessions that the boys receive each month. I really enjoy coaching this group and am looking forward in particular, to seeing them improve further in the years to come.

Coaching Qualifications: FA Coaching Level 1, FA Coaching Level 2

Football Philosophy
The Club policy is to encourage close ball control, improvement in technical ability and team work. To this end we have teamed up with Rondos, who brings a superb level of technical coaching to the players. As a result, we can concentrate on team play. We believe in playing the ball along the ground, passing out of Defence, using the full width of the pitch and an interchangeable Midfield/Attack. Players are now settling into their preferred positions but these are not set in stone and do change quite a bit. We expect our players to be able to play in as many areas as possible, this is to give the players a rounded and full experience of all elements of the game of football.
